Mapping The High-Quality Development In Project Management: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract

In the world of project management, a new approach called High-Quality Development (HQD) is increasing serious attention. HQD isn't just about getting things done; it's about ensuring every step of a project, it involves careful planning to achieve the absolute best results from the original planning to to the final output. Researchers have been exploring this trend, examining the latest developments, popular topics, and key publications in the field. To understand the core principles and emerging patterns of HQD, this study used some innovation techniques. Citation analysis describes how often research papers are cited by others. Co-citation analysis examines which articles are frequently referenced together, which helps out relationships between various fields of research. Finally, keyword analysis identifies the important phrases that continue to appear which provide clues about the overall focus of the field. This data came from a solid research database called the Web of Science core collection and VOSviewer, a powerful tool that helps visualize the relationships between different studies. These analyses uncover key themes and patterns. This study shows that during the last decades a significant research increase in HQD research. This study also indicates that there is increasing focus on to make sure the quality and satisfaction of the stakeholders and also achieving long-term success. The study also identified several key themes within HQD which include the importance of continuously high-performing projects, the value of expert knowledge and efficient project management. It further highlights the importance of a qualified team and flawless execution from start to finish. Interestingly, the research on HQD is a global phenomenon, with significant contributions coming from countries like China, the US, and England. This study provides valuable insights into how HQD is transforming project management for the better. It even proposes some exciting areas for future research that could leverage the visualization capabilities of VOSviewer to delve even deeper into this evolving field.
