The fast-paced software development world today is seeing organizations increasingly embracing DevOps in order to connect development and operations teams. DevOps encourages continuous integration, automation, and better communication, which are critical in order to release high-quality software products in a more efficient manner. This study explores the influence of DevOps adoption on project delivery performance in the context of software project management, with emphasis laid on the moderating effect of process integration. The research follows a quantitative strategy, using a structured questionnaire administered among IT experts in software companies in Pakistan. Data collected were examined using structural equation modeling (SEM) to assess the hypothesized relationships. Results indicate that the adoption of DevOps practices has a substantial positive impact on project delivery results, such as timeliness, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, the analysis identifies that process integration moderates the effect of DevOps on project performance in a positive way by amplifying the positive influence of DevOps. When operational and development workflows are well-integrated, organizations can maximize the benefits of DevOps. This research contributes to the current stock of knowledge on software engineering practices by emphasizing the significance of process integration in enhancing DevOps effectiveness. It further provides practical implications for project managers seeking to improve project performance through strategic technology implementation.
