Abstract

This study's main purpose was to investigate the impact of microfinance on social life in rural areas of the Punjab province of Pakistan. The researcher looked into the societal impact of Akhuwat's microfinancing scheme. The researchers also looked into the influence of Akhuwat microfinance on the beneficiaries' income levels. Microfinance is making a huge difference in the lives of the impoverished in Pakistan's Punjab district. The income of the family's head and the entire family increased reasonably as more girls began to attend school. Meat consumption, fruit consumption, and the affordability of helpers all increased after getting microfinance from Akhuwat. Thus of their improved living conditions and behavior, borrowers were in a better position to receive medical treatment, and relatives' visits to the poor increased.
